Move Oval to Zone 1

With the new Northern line extension to Nine Elms and Battersea, Kennington Station will be moving to Zone 1. Both new stops on the line, Nine Elms and Battersea Power Station, will also be in Zone 1.

We think it’s high time that Oval moved to Zone 1 too. After all, Oval station is closer to Central London than Battersea! It would mean cheaper fares for local residents – 50p off each peak-time tube journey into town.

Please sign our petition below to the Mayor of London and Transport for London, asking that Oval Station is moved into Zone 1/2. Zone 1/2 is for stations on the borders of Zone 1 and 2 and is counted in being in both.

We the undersigned call on the Mayor of London and TfL to put Oval Station into Zone1/2 and give residents the same access to cheaper peak travel that is being given to residents of Battersea and Kennington.
