Adrian Hyyrylainen-Trett

Please select Adrian as your No.1 on the ballot paper to give Lambeth Liberal Democrat’s the possibility of electing a Waterloo & South Bank Councillor for the first time since 2010 local elections.

Having stood in the previous known ward of “Bishops” in the 2018 local elections, and only 300 votes short from being elected, Adrian has established a local following and recognition of work achieved and collaborated with other local groups over the past four years; whilst being the sole Liberal Democrat Candidate to be active in the local Waterloo neighbourhood groups including the Police Panel, SOWN Environmental Group, Road / Transport consultation groups, led the restoration of Hatfield’s Gardens, as Chair of newly formed Hatfield’s Gardens Communication Group (HGCG) which through GLA grants have reformed the Green space and having chaired Stamford Street, Peabody Estate for a second time since 2019 which includes the most difficult past 18 months that many have experienced and cared for the local community.

Adrian has international recognition as an LGBTQ+ activist for human rights, and as a non-binary candidate, and will fight for local Communities needs, from parking issues to bin collections, from anti social behaviour to looking after young people’s needs to supporting local charities with the homeless community; all of which can guarantee Adrian’s undeterred energy, commitment, listening to residents needs, regular attendance at all local meetings
and is always ready to engage on pressing issues with Lambeth Council Members (something he would love to fulfil as your Councillor).
