We are committed to rethinking solutions for Lambeth's environmental challenges and will be holding an open meeting on 20 February from 7PM to discuss the challenges facing the borough as well as how to solve them at a practical, local level.
To kick off the discussion Caroline Pidgeon, London Assembly Member will speak. Caroline has long campaigned on sorting out transportation emissions in South London and has championed electric car charging points and low emission zones.
Our key Green priorities are emissions, transportation - moving away from combustion, reducing waste - plastics, paper cups and delivering local green projects.
We want to know what you think about our priorities and for you to share your concerns, ideas and solutions. We'll then use your suggestions to help develop Lambeth Lib Dem Green policies for the upcoming election!
This event is open to non-members as well as members, so join us Tuesday 20 February from 6.30 for 7PM start.
Speaker
Caroline was elected to the London Assembly in May 2008 and has a strong track record of campaigning on issues such as strong policing and improved public transport. Caroline is Chair of the London Assembly's Transport Committee and a member of the Police and Crime Committee and also the Budget and Performance Committee.
Update: Baroness Randerson has had to tender her apologies as the Second Reading of the Automated and Electric Vehicles Bill is now scheduled for the same time, and she must attend.
