Simon Drage

Simon grew up in South London and has called Streatham home since 2012. A Lambeth Leaseholder Simon has experienced first hand how difficult it can be to get Lambeth to do even basic repairs and maintenance. Getting a better deal for tenants is a top priority who need a council that gets the basics right.

An experienced campaigner Simon has worked for MPs and in the charity sector to deliver change. He is standing for election as he wants to see a council that starts listening to residents again. We have big decisions like taking leisure services back to being directly run without users being consulted and little evidence made available on how this and many other aspects of Lambeth are performing.

It's time we had a council that listened to residents and put their priorities first rather than a council that rides roughshod over people's views. Working alongside Claire and Nick and the Lib Dem team Simon will make sure residents in Streatham Common and Vale can make their voice heard at the Town Hall.
