Reduce Streatham Wells CPZ hours

We the undersigned call on Lambeth Council to reduce the hours of the Streatham Wells Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ), introduced in March 2025, from six hours (10am–4pm Mon–Fri) to two hours (12pm–2pm Mon–Fri), in line with neighbouring zones.

The six-hour restriction places an unfair financial burden on residents who need visitor, carer and trader permits, adds to cost-of-living pressures, and makes it harder for people to visit and work in our community.

We ask the Council to carry out a fresh, open and transparent review, including a consultation on 12pm–2pm hours, and to act on it, bringing Streatham Wells into line with neighbouring areas while continuing to manage local parking effectively.
