Tam Langley

Tam has lived in Lambeth for over 20 years, but she grew up in Portsmouth where Liberal Democrats run the council. Working on council-run playschemes, Tam saw the difference youth services made to kids’ lives and ambitions. Now Tam works for a children’s charity, running campaigns to get more investment in babies and toddlers.

Tam is campaigning for a fairer Lambeth and against the government’s proposals to change indefinite leave to remain. These would move the goalposts for hundreds of our neighbours, including doctors and teachers working in local hospitals and schools.

Tam is skilled at scrutinising political decisions and developing policy.  She has strong financial management skills too, from running a business with 25 staff.

On the weekends Tam enjoys live music, so you may spot her dancing at Brixton Academy or Jamm.
